About Barnsley Chiropractic and the Team

Established for almost 20 years, Barnsley Chiropractic has, and continue to play a major role in improving the health of thousands of people within Yorkshire treating conditions ranging from back pain, neck pain, musculoskeletal complaints Treating babies that are days old to patients in their 90s. For the elderly or the young our treatments are tailored specifically to the patients' needs and tolerances.

The focus of our health centre is to provide quality Chiropractic care that uses a variety of Chiropractic techniques to treat loss of normal joint function and its associated symptoms. This removes interference to the nervous system by taking away ‘pressure’ on the nerves, thereby helping the body to reach its optimum health.

Complementing this approach, the other therapies offered by the centre include dry needling type acupuncture, deep tissue massage, sports injury therapy, chiropody, podiatry, nutritional therapy and physiotherapy. Rehabilitation including specific stretching and core stability training may also be part of your health program if necessary.

It is one of the objectives of the centre to ensure that whatever your health issue, you are correctly and completely diagnosed and thereby directed to the most appropriate practitioner for your complaint or to the therapy of your preference. If your practitioner determines your health concern cannot be addressed completely within the centre, the centre has an excellent referral system to medical specialists, dentists, orthodontists, orthopaedic surgeons, spinal surgeons, neurosurgeons and personal trainers with whom the teamwork closely.

The team is very approachable and welcome any enquiries regarding the therapies offered or questions about any way they can help you maximize your health!
